Finding Greater Balance


Good therapy involves developing a more balanced and effective path to greater well-being and meanigful personal growth. 
As a supportive, pragmatic therapist, I seek to help clients uncover their deeper potentials and become more empowered to lead a life that is more deeply rewarding.

By working collaboratively in a solution focused way, I strive to fully understand each client’s perspective while working to help develop innate strengths, improve interpersonal skills, enrich relationships and achieve life ambitions. 
Applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, I work to help lessen the effects of long-standing behavior patterns and/or faulty perceptions that may be holding clients back from experiencing a more positive and fulfilling life. 

For clients interested in exploring mindfulness and greater bodily awareness I incorporate Sensory Awareness, an approach which can be quite helpful in quieting the mind, developing the capacity for greater inner focusing and in deepening the therapeutic process.

Although I work primarily with individual adults and couples, I like to keep about a quarter of my practice open for working with children and teens from ages 5 to 17 using a variety of approaches including play therapy, art therapy, CBT, psychodrama. and parent consultations.
